L'Oréal - Hair Makeup Event + Product Review!

Helloooo! Welcome back! It’s been awhile!

So, I went to a L’Oréal event at District 28 Studios a couple of days ago for their new product 'hair makeup'. I’m pretty excited about it actually - I wanted to dye my hair a lighter purple but was worried about how long it would take to wash out or if it would even look good on me. I received their ‘lilac’ coloured one in my gift bag(lucky me), as well as a neon pink one which I haven’t tried out yet - but I will definitely show a pic in my Instagram story when I do!

It’s so easy to apply - you just do small pieces around your head to get it to look like mine does in the pic above - or go crazy and do whatever you want with it!

The best part about it - it washes out in 1 wash(I tested it! It's true!) I really love how it’s temporary. I know sometimes companies will market that a product washes out in 1 wash and then it doesn’t but it’s completely safe to say this one does. It also didn’t rub off/colour transfer onto my pillowcase which is a plus. When I applied the colour to my hair it felt a little hard when it dried - just like any other product like this but you brush it out and it becomes like normal hair, soft. It sells for $16.99CAD. & you can purchase from any drugstore - Shoppers Drugmart, etc. There are many different colours to choose from or mix to create the colour you want.

Just a little bit about the event:

It was held in Toronto at District 28 Studios. They had a few different activations around the venue, one being VIP treatment with custom colour application & style by a stylist, a photoshoot with a celeb photographer, another photo booth and then another photo booth. (Yes! 3 photo booths... and clearly I wanted to do all of them.. & I did lol except for one of them)
